Lou….Great job. Its all about taking care of the CUSTOMER, not about YOU. The fact is, that since this lady was trying to help YOU, even though she may have sent you somewhere else, you are likely to return, since she was taking care of YOUR needs, not her commission.
So true. Yet LARGE COMPANIES just dont get it. Thats the reason that small companies can “eat the lunch” of the big guys.

Another classic example of “In Miracle on 34th Street, Macy’s Santa Claus is caught sending shoppers to stores where they can find what they want, instead of pushing what Macy’s wants to unload. Will Mr. Macy be upset? Not when he realizes it’s making loyal customers for life” 🙂
